The cycling tour takes you from the centre of Jesenice across Javorniški Rovt, past Pristava up to Križovec pass under the Karavanke ridge, and then across Planina pod Golico back to Jesenice. The tour is very demanding because of the steep climb up to Javorniški Rovt (14%). It is suitable for very fit mountain bikers. Caution is required when descending from Križovec to Planina pod Golico on the narrow and steep gravel road. In the final part the tour descends on the asphalt road from Planina pod Golico to Jesenice.
Interesting sights along the trail: Javornik waterfalls, fossils collection – Spodnja počivala, Pristava with Zois’ Park, Savske jame former mining area, daffodil meadows in May, Plavž Memorial Park, Gimnazija Jesenice (Jesenice Upper Secondary School), Tone Čufar Square.
