Gorenjska.bike is an automated bike system in the municipalities of Jesenice, Naklo, Radovljica and Tržič and the City Municipality of Kranj.

The Gorenjska.bike system includes 28 docking stations in the City Municipality of Kranj and 6 stations in the Jesenice Municipality, 5 in the Radovljica Municipality, 3 in the Tržič Municipality and 1 in the Naklo Municipality. A total of 245 bikes are available, of which around 60% feature auxiliary electric drives. The sub-system is called KRSKOLESOM in Kranj and JeseNICE bikes in Jesenice.  Users can hire or return bikes at any docking station of the Gorenjska.bike system. Registration in the system is required for use. Users can register at https://www.gorenjska.bike or using the MOBILN.SI smartphone app. Payment is possible by credit card (Activa, Diners, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron), mobile payment (mBills, VALÚ Moneta) or by online banking (Abanet, NLB Klik). Cash payments are only possible at the Tourism and Culture Board Kranj.

Upon registration, users are given a user name and password that is not transferable.  Any natural person over 14 years of age can become a user. Every docking station has a self-service terminal, bike docks and bikes. The system is easy to use, and it only takes a few moments to hire or return a bike. When returning the bike, the user pushes it into the dock and checks whether the return was successful. A blue light on the dock will show that the bike has been returned successfully. The system operates from March to November. 

Pricing

In the 2021 season, starting from 10 May 2021, a 50% discount is applied when purchasing Annual or Monthly package. All listed prices include VAT. The e-bike package includes the use of regular and electric bikes.  Bikes may be used for up to 840 minutes per week. Users may use their weekly available time in a single session or by dividing it up. The package is valid 365 days from the day of purchase.
